Originally supplied with mallets similar to those of the Longworth Set (see below), our sets are now supplied with upgraded mallets with solid ash handles, usually found only on more expensive sets. This is probably the best value full-sized boxed set available. Includes 4 hardwood mallets with leather-bound octagonal ash handles, regulation size and weight 16oz composite balls, steel hoops, hoop mallet, corner flags and pegs, plastic clips, hardwood winning post and rules. Packed in a solid pine box with latches and rope handles. An excellent set for all the family. We also offer the same set 9in a tough canvas zipped bag, which is lighter to carry.

An excellent value, full-sized 4 player croquet set replacing the Townsend Standard Set, with all the equipment you could imagine. This is probably the cheapest full-sized set available. Replacing the Townsend Garden Set, but upgraded to a solid pine storage box. This smaller-sized set is ideal for the smaller garden, adult beginners and children. The mallets are 3/4 size (32 1/2 inches long with smaller-sized heads). The balls are lighter weight but full size, as are the steel hoops and hard wood winning post. Rules are included. In summary, this set contains everything you need to enjoy the game in full.
